Coronation Day 1952 - Alastair Ewing
Church House Inn at the turn of the Century - Man furthest up the stairs is "Bald" Dick Elliott, left of him are his wife and daughter, both of whom died of T.B. shortly after this picture was taken. John Elliott, Dick Elliotts' nephew was the next owner of the Inn. His daughter Daisy married Frank Hill, the haulier.

Apple Pie Fair 1958- 1958 is the year the Fair was revived. The man playing the drum is Frederick LLoyd and his daughter-in-law Joan LLoyd is following behind. The parade is passing where the Top Shops are now.
